Dear Trinity Family,

Thank you for assisting with SHARE’s New Beginnings program. 

Our family has little in terms of furniture and household goods. We have already selected furniture items from SHARE’s donations to furnish the apartment  but need help in filling in with other items. We have compiled an Amazon wish list HERE that includes many of the things needed for a cozy and functioning home. Important things to note about the wish list:

The items marked “most wanted” are those items that SHARE would prefer to be purchased new (i.e., linens, towels, bedding etc.)

• The other items on the list are just examples of things that the family could use (kitchen items, cleaning supplies, bathroom items, etc.). You and you team are welcome to purchase these things directly off of the wish list (these prices are all competitive with Walmart or other discount stores) OR you can also donate any gently used items that are similar to the ones listed in the Amazon list.
• All items purchased from the Amazon list will be shipped directly to Mimi and arrive on the SHARE truck on May 3. 
• We ask that all items from the wish list are purchased by Monday, April 28 so we can make sure they arrive before our move-in day!

Beyond the wish list, other items that your group could pull together to make the house feel like a true “home” include:

• a small plant for the kitchen
• any décor items that you think would make the apartment feel more “cozy” (including picture frames and other decorative items) 
• a fruit bowl (some groups even fill it with fruit!) for the kitchen table
• anything else you can think of!
