We believe that every child is a special and unique individual with special abilities and needs. Our preschool curriculum includes intellectual, social, emotional and physical development and a kindergarten preparatory program. We also provide year-round childcare staff for infants - 3-year-olds during Sunday morning worship and other many events:
- Sunday School. Classes are for children of all ages, pre-K through Sr. High from Septmeber through June. Classes for children age 3 - 8th grade are held in the Fellowship Building when children are dismissed from the 10:30 a.m. worship service. Children's Worship is held during the Adult Sunday School hour at 9:30 a.m. (September - June) for ages 3-8.
- Children's Worship. A learning time for ages 3 - 8 is held during the 9:30 a.m. learning hour in Room 403.
- Parents Day Out (PDO). Preschool is for children ages 2½ to 5 years. Classes are either 3 days a week (M, W, F) or 5 days a week (M-F) 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. A kindergarten preparatory program is also offered. Contact: Karen Jester 703.790.2767.
- Vacation Bible School (VBS). A week-long Bible day camp filled with stories, crafts, music, recreation, and snacks. This year's VBS: Galactic Blast is scheduled for August 16-20, 2010. Registrastion form available here. Contact Patty Burgess 703.556.7894.
Opportunities for children to learn by doing include:
- Trinity Choristers and Youth Choir. Opportunities to "Make a Joyful Noise unto the Lord" are here for 4-year-olds through high school.
- Crucifer/Acolyte/Bell Ringer. Children and youth are invited to participate in the Worship Service. For information contact the coordinator, Paige Whitlock, 703-663-8080.
- Boy Scouts. Boy Scout Troop 869 meets in Langley Hall on Monday evenings.
